Quirin’s experience with the “office switch”

Internationalisation plays a central role in many areas at the SOCCA GROUP. One example of this is the flexibility of our work locations, which makes it possible to move between different sites.

Our colleague Quirin has benefited from this opportunity and gives us an insight into his successful “office switch”:

After two and a half years in the Rosenheim head office, it was time for a change of scenery. After a brief consultation with his manager and colleagues, Quirin moved to the office in Vienna. He has been working in the Austrian capital since June and was warmly welcomed by his Viennese colleagues. Thanks to regular company meetings and online exchanges in advance, settling in went smoothly.

Although Quirin has changed his place of work, he remains part of Team FUNO and continues to look after German training camp teams. In addition to his new location, Quirin has taken on a new role: He is now Teamlead FUNO, taking responsibility for the team’s internal target achievement and personnel management.

The “Office-Switch” pilot project is an impressive example of flexibility within the SOCCA GROUP. Quirin successfully manages his team remotely, with daily dialogue and status updates in meetings. His conclusion so far has been consistently positive and shows that this form of collaboration works excellently.
